What each error correction level does
- L (7%) — smallest QR. Use for clean, high-contrast codes with no logo, printed at large sizes.
- M (15%) — good default. Handles minor smudging or partial obstruction.
- Q (25%) — noticeably larger QR. Use if scanning conditions are rough (outdoor, small print, tilted angles).
- H (30%) — largest QR. Required if you overlay a logo — the extra parity data compensates for the covered area.

Will my QR scan with a logo?
Yes, if the logo covers under about 30% of the QR area and you use error correction level H. We add a white pad around the logo automatically.

What about tracking / analytics QRs?
This tool generates static QR codes — the URL is baked into the image. For dynamic/trackable QRs you would need a URL shortener with analytics; that always requires a server, which we do not run.
